Hilton Dubai Al Habtoor City features year-round outdoor pools, including a spacious children’s paddling pool designed with a gradual slope into the water. However, due to the smooth mosaic ceramic tiles, the surface became dangerously slippery, leading to the temporary closure of the pool.

To restore safe use, GriP Safety Coatings applied its SWISSGriP® Bathroom system to the entire surface of the children’s pool. The transparent anti-slip solution ensures safety while maintaining the aesthetic appeal of the mosaic tiles. The coating meets slip resistance class C under DIN EN 16165 / DIN 51097, making it ideal for wet barefoot areas.

Thanks to GriP’s high-performance safety coating, the children’s pool is now open again for young swimmers and their families—providing peace of mind with every splash.
